Where do Escape Games come from?
Escape Games come from the classic ‘escape the room’ online point and click flash computer games. They were then made into real life games in Japan around 2007. Since then Escape Games have become popular all over the world.
I’ve already played ‘Murder At Brighton Pier’ and ‘Laboratory of a Madman’. Can I play ‘Murder At The Pier: Revenge’ and ‘Return of the Mad Scientist’?
Yes absolutely! Although these new games share the same theme as our previous games, they are brand new with completely different puzzles and story.
Do I need any special skills?
No. All of our games are designed for people who have never played an Escape Game before. Everything you need to know will be explained to you before your game.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. All you need to bring is your team and a sense for adventure.
Is there an age limit for players?
The game is designed for players aged 13 and up. Players under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
How much does it cost?
The price of the game depends on the size of your team. Games start at £45.
How can I pay?
You can pay online when you book your mission. You can also pay with cash or card at our location.
How long does it take?
The game lasts 60 minutes. Before the game starts we will give you instructions about how to play and afterwards there will be a celebration ceremony. The whole event lasts about 90 minutes.
Can I buy gift certificates?
Yes. You can buy them online and have them mailed to your address or buy them directly from us at our location. To buy online click here
How Many People Can I Play With?
Our missions are designed for groups of 2 to 6 players. We may be able to make exceptions if you would like to play with a larger group but you must contact us to confirm before your appointment. The limit of players is so that your team will have the maximum enjoyment and best possible experience. We suggest the optimum team size is 4 players.
Can I bring more or less players than I have booked?
Yes of course. You only pay for the amount of people who actually play. It is ok to arrive with a different team size as long as it does not exceed the maximum amount of players for your mission.
Is it advised to play a mission if you have a phobia?
If you have any concerns about phobias or the content of our games please contact us and we will answer any questions you may have.
Is Escape Game Brighton suitable for a party e.g. stag party?
Yes, the game is fun, light hearted and the perfect way to start a night out.
Is Escape Game Brighton suitable for schools?
Yes, in addition to being fun the game is also a mental challenge and a great exercise in teamwork.
